Fire
extinguishers Superior quality steel, aluminum or stainless steel cylinders manufactured to exacting standards. Rugged construction: easy and less costly to maintain and service. Complete range of sizes for all hazard requirements. Portable, Fixed automatic and wheeled Available as: 1. ABC or multipurpose powder fire extinguishers: those utilize a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical agent. Recommended for fighint class A (wood, paper, cloth, rubber, plastics), class B (flammable liquids, oils, greases, tars, flammable gases), class C (involves the same fuels as class A or Class B fires but has an energized electrical component serving as the ignition sources). 2. Carbon Dioxide (CO2): discharges a white cloud of "snow" which smothers a fire by eliminating its oxygen. It is effective for class B flammable liquid fires and is electrically non-conductive. Carbon Dioxide is clean, non-contaminating, odorless gas, safe for use on clothing, equipment, valuable documents or food. 3. AFFF Foam: This has class A and class B fire fighting capabilities. Excellent for covering non-ignited class B spills, sealing the surface thus minimizing the chance of serious fire. Not intended for use on fires involving energized electricity (class C). 4. Water: The fire fighting agent that is ideal for class A fires, effective for inexperienced operators. 5. Wet Chemical: These are the best restaurant kitchen appliance hand portable fire extinguishers. They contain a special potassium acetate based, low PH agent developed for use in pre-engineered restaurant kitchen systems. The superior quality of the Wet Chemical agent is placed exactly where you aim it with no chemical residue to clean up. This satisfies code class A requirements and both supplement existing cooking equipment protection for an extra margin of safety. 6. Water Mist: This is a total no ozone depletion, no global warming concerns, no EPA restrictions, no magnetic construction, no toxicity or respiratory problems, no residue fire extinguisher. Ideal protection for hospitals, health care facilities, MRI facilities, telecommunication facilities, clean rooms, electronic equipment manufacturing. Wherever there is a class A hazard near electrical equipment and the environment is the paramount of concern. |
